We make great coffee, and we help to change lives through global direct trading in Rwanda and local programmes here, in Glasgow
James is the Founder of Glesga Roasters. Having battled with the criminal justice system, substance misuse and mental ill health as a teenager, his life was transformed when he found faith and hope for the future. Through befriending and mentoring, he discovered new skills and purpose and an excitement for life-long learning. He is now a minister of a local church, and he has a passion for rehabilitation and coffee.
Adverse experiences featured in Adam’s childhood. Substance misuse and the criminal justice system dominated his teens and twenties. Through relationship, mentoring and employment he has found hope, restoration and purpose. He loves roasting coffee and that he can contribute to society by paying tax but, most of all, he is passionate about enabling disadvantaged and marginalized people understand their inherent value and realise their God given purpose and potential.
